The flu symptoms themselves are not much fun. It's definitely not just a cold.

But far more disconcerting, are periods where she seems to lose herself, and when she starts to come back, finds herself longing for a mother she knows is not hers...

She doesn't know who this woman is, and snuggles the cat for comfort while she tries to work it out.
