May. 13th, 2011 11:41 pmIt's been worryingly quiet, information-wise. First, she had difficulty finding the meeting place of the new German-sympathetic group, formed from the merge of the group she was following with another one.
Once she got there, she felt she'd missed something important. There's references to 'the plan', but other than targetting the mountain she's not managed to find out what. Well, more or less every plan they have is aimed at the mountain or the airport in Gibralta, so that's not a lot of help.
Her regular punter Eduardo, the idiot with the swastike tattooed on his head, hasn't proved terribly helpful recently either. Not least because he keeps trying to touch her bottom, or breasts.
"Sara, you are such a tease." he complains one evening, after his pint. "Have you got a boyfriend, is that it?"
"No, I just think we should stay friends, Eduardo." Carlotta says firmly.
"Lay off the girl Ed, she's trying to work." A skinny man with glasses winks at her, then extends a hand. "I'm Raul."
"Sara, nice to meet you." Carlotta shakes the hand. "I don't think you've been in before. What do you do?"
"I'm a geologist." Raul says. "Not that there's much call for it sometimes."
"Yeah, get him another drink on me, Sara, he's always broke." Eduardo says, nodding at Carlotta.
Carlotta serves the newcomer and fervently hopes she can distract Eduardo from any more romantic advances. It's not just that she's married, but he's the enemy, and quite a general slimeball at that. She'd have had the manager bar him from the premises, if he wasn't so important.
