Form teacher's report
Carlotta's places in the form are no indication of her effort this term; she has been trying incredibly hard. The decision not to continue History has done her a great deal of good, and I think in time she will catch up a little on her other subjects.
Mam'zelle and I have discussed her progress in French, and agree that additional coaching would be beneficial. I strongly recommend that she takes a break over the Christmas holidays and begins coaching with Mam'zelle next term.
It has been a pleasure to have Carlotta in my form, and although she has found this term difficult, I think she is ready to move up to the fifth form with the rest of her peers next term.

Carlotta's behaviour has been excellent this term, and she is growing into a good and conscientious young woman. I am confident that if she continues to work steadily that she will have no trouble with the exams in a year's time.
